My little girl is getting so BIG! She's turning 5 in just a couple of weeks, so we took some portraits for her today for her invitations:

From a Friend
These beautiful tulips were sent to me by a great friend of mine. I've been going through a very hard time, and she was sweet enough to send me my favorite flowers. Thanks again! They are so beautiful. :)

Antelope
If you've driven through the area near my house then you've seen the great big field we have within walking distance, right across from our neighborhood park. I've taken photos of this beautiful scenery before. I LOVE the mountains, and the lake in the distance, it's just so gorgeous!
Well in this field we often get visitors who like to just hang out for weeks at a time. I don't know really know where they go, maybe they hide, when you can't see them. The field is surrounded by homes and a shopping area, and traffic. These guys are stealthy.
I've tried, and failed, many times before to get a good shot of them but they are unholy skiddish. I have to keep myself across the street with a telephoto lens (I'll admit mine isn't the greatest) or they literally bound away before I can blink. I've tried walking into the field with them, but like I just said... bound away!
This time, I got lucky, they were RIGHT next to the road. Dangerous for them, but I honestly think they are used to the zooming cars and know to steer clear. I stayed in my car, across the street with my handy dandy telephoto and this was the best I could get. They still knew I was there and what I was doing, and I did attempt once to just open my car door to get a tiny bit closer and they weren't having any of that.
But here, they sure are beautiful, I love their coloring:
